Am I entitled to claim compensation?

It is a fair question and one that many potential clients ask. The answer however varies from case to case, and so as a result, it is imperative that you get the right information at the start of the process.

There are many ways of measuring whether your claim is eligible or not and Accident Advice Helpline has developed a unique tool for all clients to use. The 30-second test is the tool that you need to give you the answer you are looking for.

Where to find the 30-second test?

The 30-second test is an online tool that can be found on the homepage of our website. Many people find after they have been hurt that they need some time to think about making a claim.

The thought of re-living the accident, talking through what happened and how it has affected you with someone do not know at the end of the phone can be too much for some people. Using the test online is perfect for so many people.

    How to use it?

It is a really simple test to complete.

    Open Claim Calculator

You will find a series of questions, only about 5 or 6, and they are all asking basic questions about your accident. For example, it will ask were you are fault or in any way liable for the accident, and it will ask where on your body you were hurt.

You select the appropriate answer from a drop down menu available for each question. Don’t forget that this test is to give you an initial indication only. It may be that as you go on to discuss your case with your legal team, you will add more information that could change the amount of compensation being pursued.

Once you have completed the questions, you press the button and within half a minute you will know if you have a claim or not.

    What now?

When you use the 30-second test, just like when you call us, there is no obligation to continue. You will have the basic information and indication you need. Now, you just need to decide if claiming compensation is the right thing for you or not.
