Exford is a rural village at the centre of Exmoor within the county of Somerset in the south west of England. The village is situated approximately seven miles north west of Dulverton, ten miles south west of Minehead and less than a mile from the hamlet of Lyncombe. Exford is also found on the B3224 road, which is actually the main route across the whole of the Exmoor area.
There is a long history of settlement in the area which now features the village, with the prehistoric hillside enclosures of Road Castle and Staddon Hill Camp to the East and the Iron Age fort of Cow Castle to the west. The name of Exford itself is also recorded way back into history, with no fewer than five settlements in the area being recorded under the name in the Domesday Book of 1086.
In the modern day, the one village named Exford surrounds a traditional village green at its centre and also includes a post office, general store, youth hostel, car repair shop, primary school and children’s play area. Despite of all of these facilities however, the village does have a population of only around 400 and this means that for a personal injury lawyer Exford does not often give rise to compensation claims
Looking for a Personal Injury Lawyer in Exford?
As mentioned above, when it comes to the issue of compensation for a personal injury lawyer, Exford residents are some of the least likely people to begin claims proceedings and this reflects a wider lack of interest in personal injury compensation. This perceived lack of importance of compensation and lack of usage of a personal injury lawyer in Exford is unfortunate however, as residents of the village are just as entitled to claim in the correct circumstances as anybody else. It is for this reason therefore, that the remainder of this article will offer information about when and why you may be able to claim and about who can help you to successfully claim.
When snd Why is Compensation Available?
The law states that if you are injured or fall ill and it was demonstrably the fault of another party, whether that is an individual or an organisation, then you are entitled to claim personal injury compensation. This entitlement to claim is in place in order to offer at least some measure of recompense for the physical, emotional and financial pain that you have suffered.Open Claim Calculator
