    Personal injury insurance claims

    Personal injury insurance claims

Personal injury insurance claims are a particular type of personal injury claim. The language may seem complex at first but it’s actually very straightforward. Firstly, if you have been involved in an accident that was not your fault you can claim compensation. This is called a personal injury claim. In most cases, the person or organisation that you are claiming from will get that money from their insurance company. These are personal injury insurance claims. Find out some more important facts about personal injury insurance claims accidents below.

Fact 1: Personal injury insurance claims can get you money

The money (compensation) that you get is for the injuries themselves and also for the expenses that you have suffered as a result of your injuries. These expenses can be very considerable. They include loss of earning (including over-time); costs of travel and costs of buying in extra childcare.

Fact 2: Making personal injury insurance claims is not complex or stressful

It is not stressful or complex if you contact the friendly professional advisers at a law firm like Accident Advice Helpline as soon as possible. It does not matter if you were injured a while ago and have not yet claimed. You have up to three years to claim for road traffic accidents and for slips, trips and falls and medical negligence. You have even longer to claim for industrial diseases. You will be put in touch with one of our national team of solicitors who are experts in personal injury insurance claims. You do not need to pay expensive legal fees up front because our lawyers work on what is called a no win, no fee* system of payment. If your case is not successful (i.e. you lose) you do not pay us any solicitors’ fees.

Fact 3: Finding the best company to deal with your claim is easy

It is easy to spot the best companies. Accident Advice Helpline is endorsed by consumer champion Esther Rantzen. Also, we are able to take your call whenever you ring. Accident Advice Helpline is available 24/7. We has also devised a 30-second test to help clients work out whether their personal injury insurance claims are likely to be successful. There is no obligation though; you do not have to pursue the claim unless you want to.

Fact 4: All personal injury insurance claims are different

No two personal injury insurance claims are the same because every injury, every accident and every injured person is unique. Most claims can be dealt with over the telephone; very few end up in court. No-one can guarantee the exact amount of money that you will get or the amount of time that it will take to settle your claim. You may need to attend one local appointment with a medical expert for a medical assessment.
