Holyhead claims

How much is your claim worth?

If you’ve been in an accident, you may be wondering how much you may be entitled to in compensation.

With Accident Advice Helpline, it’s easy to see how much you could receive thanks to our thirty-second claims calculator. With this tool, you can enter a few details about your case such as where you were injured, whether or not you received medical attention and who was at fault, and see a rough estimate of what you could be eligible to receive in compensation.

There is also a claims form that you can fill in that allows you to share a bit more information, and submit it online. One of our Holyhead claims advisers will assess your case, and provide an honest evaluation based on the information provided.

In complicated cases, or those involving for example the loss of a loved one, you may wish to discuss your case directly with a Holyhead claims adviser. We make it easy to do so, with absolutely no need to come into any offices thanks to our helpline. You can simply call and get connected to a professional, compassionate expert who can answer questions, provide support and advice, and put you in touch with a personal injury solicitor.

How are claims calculated?

The amount you could receive depends on a number of factors.

No two claims are alike, and the individual circumstances surrounding each accident and injury will be assessed to determine the amount awarded. The severity of an injury, for example, is one large determining factor. The amount awarded in compensation for a broken wrist will be very different from the amount awarded to someone that has suffered a catastrophic injury.

The financial impact of your injury will also be evaluated. In many instances, those suffering with an injury will have to take time off work to heal, which can lead to losing income at a time when the bills are mounting. Treatments such as physiotherapy, chiropractic care and more can be expensive, and without any compensation, accident victims can be left to pay this out of pocket. If you have suffered financial loss as a result of your injury, this too will be taken into consideration when determining how much you receive from the responsible party.
