    It will be of no surprise to those frequenting the country’s roads that accident on the road in the UK statistics paint an upsetting picture. Statistics from the Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) show that in 2012 there were 1,754 fatalities from road accidents, with another 23,039 major injuries and 170,930 lesser injuries. Although this was a drop from decades previous, it still means that on average almost five people die everyday in UK road accidents.
