    FAQ’s

    Do I have a claim?

As long as an accident compensation solicitor can establish and prove some or full fault against the third party, you should have a successful claim. Check our online 30 second compensation calculator if you’d like some sort of idea of the amount you could receive in compensation.

What kind of accidents could be a valid claim?

An accident at work, a slip, trip or fall in the workplace or over something in a public place, or a road accident as a driver, rider, pedestrian or passenger. This isn’t exhaustive and if you are unsure, contact our freephone helpline 0800 689 0500 or from your mobile on 0333 500 0993, 24 hours a day where our expert team of advisors will be happy to have a no obligation discussion about your claim.

    How much could I get?

This greatly varies depending on individual injuries and expenses. You should be compensated for any losses you’ve had as a result of the accident or injuries you received, this could be loss of job earnings, medical expenses or ongoing treatment or therapy fees. All of our accident compensation solicitors operate on a no win no fee* basis and any solicitors fees are usually collected by the third party’s insurer.

What do I need to do?

Seek medical attention and ask for a copy of medical notes, also keep a diary of any doctors’ appointments you have as a result of the accident. Keep any receipts for any medical expenses that you meet due to your injuries. Collect as much other evidence as possible such as photographs and witness details, this is all vital to help the accident compensation solicitor prove that the accident was a third party’s fault.

Will my Accident Compensation Solicitor need me to go to court?

Usually, unless the third party’s insurance company aren’t complying, the accident compensation solicitor will be able to settle your claim with the insurance company outside of court, so you probably won’t need to attend any distressing court cases.

Will I need a medical examination?

In some cases, it may be necessary for you to attend one final independent medical assessment to see how well you are recovering and if you need any other immediate medical attention; this isn’t anything to worry about.

Should I still claim for minor injuries?

Yes, even minor injuries such as whiplash could end up being a permanent condition and sometimes injuries can take time to become fully apparent.
