    Spark plug accident counselling

If you are struggling with the psychological and emotional trauma of a spark plug accident, you may benefit from receiving spark plug accident counselling.

Here at Accident Advice Helpline we are committed to helping anyone who has had a spark plug accident that was not their fault. We believe that no one should suffer financial hardship because of an accident. Often after an accident, people focus on the physical and practical hardships, for example, paying for medicines or losing earnings due to being unable to work. However a spark plug accident may also have a psychological and emotional impact that persists long after the physical injuries have healed.

    What are the symptoms?

There are a number of symptoms that may suggest that you need spark plug accident counselling. These can include insomnia, nightmares and fatigue. Other people may experience extreme anxiety, tearfulness and short temper. You may experience flashbacks and panic attacks. Emotional stress can cause physical symptoms, including dizziness, an irregular or noticeably fast heartbeat, shortness of breath and excessive sweating. It is important to seek help or you run the risk of developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which can be devastating.

    How to get help

If you are suffering any of these symptoms then the first thing to do is consult your doctor. He or she may then refer you for accident counselling. Counselling is available on the NHS, but often has long waiting lists because the service is in such great demand. Rather than wait you may wish to have private counselling; however, this can be expensive. Sessions may cost a lot of money and several sessions may be needed for you to work through your trauma.

The good news is that if you have a medically recognised need for counselling for a spark plug accident that was not your fault Accident Advice Helpline may be able to help you recover the costs of spark plug accident counselling as part of your compensation package. Do not delay in seeking the treatment you need, but keep receipts for any counselling you have paid for.
