    There are numerous reasons as to why accidents at the office occur, all of which will be discussed here but before we outline the common reasons for office accidents, let’s discuss methods of accident avoidance. Office accidents occur on an almost daily basis, which is why measures need to be put in place to stop accidents from occurring. Often the cause of an office accident is the carelessness of a worker. Companies have the responsibility of adequately training their workforce so that accidents at the workplace can be avoided.     Defective Machinery

    A prime cause of accidents at the workplace is defective machinery or equipment. At times a machine can malfunction and cause an unexpected accident. The reason for the accident could be the management’s failure to regularly check the machine. It could also be the worker’s fault as he may not have informed the management about the faulty machine. If the accident was not caused by the worker he should get compensated.

    Fatigue

    Fatigue is a major cause of office accidents. A lot of people may not realise this but this can impair judgement.
