Are there any knee injury exercises I can do?

Knee injury exercises can be very useful in helping to rehabilitate someone who has suffered an injury to their knee. While keeping the knee immobile for a time may potentially be useful (it depends on the injury and how serious it is as to the right method of care), there will come a point when exercise will gradually help you get back to normal.

Knee injuries come in a wide range of types. For example, heavy bruising and soft tissue damage may potentially occur if you bump your knee or fall on it. Some people strike their knee on the steering column of their car if they are involved in a car accident, for example. They may not even be aware of it at the time, until they notice pain and bruising starting to develop.

What are the best knee injury exercises for you?

If you have sustained a knee injury in an accident, it is best to seek advice from your GP to assess what the damage may be. If you cannot move your knee or it is causing you severe pain, a trip to casualty immediately after the accident would be a good idea. You may have broken your kneecap or dislocated it, or suffered another injury that requires medical intervention.

There is another reason why seeking medical help is a good idea. If you have been injured because someone else caused you to be involved in an accident, you may later be able to make a claim. Anyone who is injured because of a third party’s negligence has the right to consider such a claim, and you can get expert advice very easily indeed if you know where to go.
