    Injured on a caravan holiday?

Families all over the UK love nothing more than taking their caravan out for a weekend break during the summer months. In fact, many caravan fans will spend a large chunk of their free time discovering new locations with the peace of mind knowing that their comfortable accommodation is never far away!

What sort of accidents can happen on a caravan holiday?

The sheer beauty of taking your caravan with you on holiday is that you will always have a home from home wherever you go. But no matter where you happen to go, accidents can always creep up on you. The most common type of accidents that can happen are usually when you fall over, trip up, or slip on a shiny surface. Even though you are supposed to be enjoying your caravan holiday, you should always take notice of your present surroundings. Just imagine that you are relaxing at a peaceful caravan park in the countryside and you decide to take a stroll. On the way to your destination, you fail to notice some tools that have been left lying around by the caravan park handyman. As a result, you trip up and damage your lag badly. This could be a case where you can claim for personal injury compensation.

Help! I’ve been injured on a caravan holiday, what can I do?

Well, as we have mentioned before, accidents really can happen no matter where you are, and even if you are being careful. If you’ve had an experience like we’ve just talked about, you need to ask for help immediately. Take a look and see what exactly was the cause of your painful accident, and get the attention of a member of the caravan park staff. You should also ask for a witness to give you their contact details. Seek appropriate medical advice and get some rest. Once you feel up to it, you can go and speak to a personal injury claims specialist.
