Did you fall from 30 feet with injuries?

Did you know that falls from height are the main cause of fatalities in the workplace in the UK? But you could be seriously injured after a fall from height too, and if you fall from 30 feet, whilst working on scaffolding, a roof or somewhere else that’s high, you might suffer life-changing injuries. These types of injuries can seriously impact the way you live your life and you could even be left permanently disabled. If this has happened to you, or to somebody you love, making a personal injury claim for compensation could be the way forward.

Accident Advice Helpline has helped hundreds of people claim compensation for falls from height, so we’re here to make sure you get the compensation you deserve, whatever has happened.

How do falls from height happen?

Many falls from height are the result of accidents at work, which usually means that somebody has been negligent when it comes to health and safety. If you have suffered a fall from 30 feet, chances are you were probably working on a roof or scaffolding at the time, but there should be safety measures in place to protect you whilst doing so. This means your employer should carry out a risk assessment before work commences, ensure equipment (such as scaffolding) has been properly set up and is safe to use, and that you have received the training needed to carry out the work safely.

Most falls from height result in pretty nasty injuries such as broken bones, spinal injuries and head injuries – you could even sustain serious crush injuries if you fall and something falls onto you, for example scaffolding.

Has a fall from 30 feet left you disabled?

Being left disabled after a fall from height is an excellent reason to contact Accident Advice Helpline. Perhaps this has happened to you after a construction site accident, or maybe somebody you know has been injured in a cherry picker accident at work. Whatever has happened, if somebody else is liable for their accident, we can help you get compensation for your pain, suffering and financial losses.
