Compensation for being thrown from a tractor

Using heavy and large machinery is never easy and always poses a risk of some kind, especially vehicles like tractors that have a lot of moving parts and require some skill to use. Unfortunately, accidents where someone has been hurt from using or being thrown from a tractor are not as uncommon as you may think, as we at Accident Advice Helpline know only too well. We see many cases of this kind and in circumstances where the injured victim was not to blame for the accident, we are extremely skilled in helping them to claim compensation.

We are a caring company, always putting our client’s needs first; with Dame Esther Rantzen as our company patron and 15 years’ experience in the industry, it is no wonder more and more people are choosing to come to us with their personal injury claims. With our 30-second claim calculator available online, it has never been quicker or easier to see how much you could be owed.

Injuries from being thrown from a tractor

Being thrown from a moving vehicle such as a tractor can cause a range of injuries, varying from bumps and bruises to broken bones and worse. Some injuries we have encountered in such cases include:

    • Head injuries caused by hitting the ground or a hard object
    • Crush injuries caused by the vehicle continuing to move after the driver has come off, resulting in being run over
    • Back and spinal injuries resulting in a loss of movement or mobility for a period of time
    • Psychological trauma caused by the emotional ramifications of sustaining serious injuries which could potentially prevent the victim from living a normal life.

    Compensation for injuries

If you have recently been involved in an accident where you were thrown from a tractor and sustained injuries, you may be able to claim compensation, depending on who was at fault for the accident.

If you were found to be acting irresponsibly and this was the cause of the accident then it is unlikely you will be able to claim However, if the accident can be shown to be someone else’s fault then you might be able to begin a claim.
