"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Esther Rantzen

    Car crash injury advice

Despite increased safety regulations and improved vehicle design, traffic accidents remain one of the most common causes of serious injury in Britain; therefore, it is perhaps not surprising that we regularly receive calls from people seeking car crash injury advice.  The advice we offer at Accident Advice Helpline is free of charge and does not come with an obligation to claim with us.  We simply aim to make people aware of their legal options and of the amount of compensation they might be entitled to if they have suffered because of somebody else’s failings.

    What kind of claims count?

Anybody who is caught up in a car crash that is not their fault is entitled to claim compensation for their injuries as long as they claim within three years of the accident occurring; people who are injured in car crashes when they are children can claim at any time before they turn 21.  The limit for other types of claim, such as compensation for damage to a vehicle, is sometimes shorter, so it is always better to claim sooner rather than later.  In order to be eligible for compensation a medical professional must have treated you for your injuries.  It can help your case it you have photos of your injuries, but this is not essential.

At Accident Advice Helpline we are available round the clock to provide clarification if you are not sure about how to proceed.  We will make sure you have the information you need to avoid missing out.

    How to claim

After receiving car crash injury advice, we can provide you with a specialist traffic accident solicitor if you decide that you want to claim.  Wherever possible we aim to match people with solicitors who have prior experience in dealing with accidents very similar to those suffered.  This gives our solicitors a valuable edge when it comes to assembling all the evidence and building a strong case.

Once you have a solicitor you will be able to pass on any useful information you may have, such as the names and addresses of the witnesses to the crash.  You will normally be able to communicate with your solicitor by phone; therefore, there will not be lots of travel to worry about if you are badly injured or uncomfortable about spending time on the roads.

    No-win, no-fee*

We take on all our cases using a no-win, no-fee* agreement.  This means that you will not need to pay us if we lose your case, which gives us all the more reason to work hard on your behalf.  It also means that you can be confident that we will make a fair assessment of your case and not pretend it is worth more than it is.  We will always aim to get you the best possible deal.  A good compensation payout can pay for the practical assistance, counselling and support that helps to get you back in control of your life.  It may not be able to fix everything, but it can make your life much easier and help you to put the crash behind you.
