"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Base jumping accident counselling

If you were injured as a result of a base jumping accident, your doctor may have referred you for base jumping accident counselling to help with your recovery. While counselling services are available on the NHS, you may not gain access to them at the moment that you require them. Waiting lists are still very much in evidence and if you end up on one of them, it could slow down your recovery. The alternative is for you to pay for private counselling, but we believe that this is unfair. So, what can be done about it?

    A personal injury claim

If you make a personal injury claim, then you should be able to claim back the cost of any additional healthcare that you have had to pay for such as counselling. After all, if the accident was not your fault then why should you suffer financially to obtain necessary care such as counselling?

If your doctor has recommended counselling, then you need to be sure that you get it. The last thing you need is for the issues surrounding the accident to be unresolved in your own mind, and base jumping accident counselling could also prevent you from having nightmares about what has happened. A traumatic accident will require more than the simple healing of sprains and broken bones. There will be so much more to come to terms with, particularly if the injuries suffered are life-changing.

    Getting support

Support for your legal action against those responsible is available from the Accident Advice Helpline. From the moment you contact our free 24hour helpline you will be in safe hands, and we hope that this will relieve some of the anxiety connected to thoughts of the future. You may be concerned about how you and your family are going to cope without your regular wage, or how your family are going to manage with your injuries. There is no need for you to worry, as we will work on your behalf to get the compensation that you deserve.

So how do you pay for legal action? The good news is that you do not need to worry about any fees to begin your claim as we offer a no-win, no-fee service that will make it easier for your claim to get moving even if you have limited funds in the bank.

If you have to get counselling following a base jumping accident, then it may be key to your recovery that you attempt to obtain financial compensation. Loss of earnings and other expenses may also be covered by compensation, so it is possible that you may obtain the means to relax and recover without any worries.

Never underestimate the importance of counselling. Initially, you may feel as though you are fine emotionally, but the effects may show themselves later, which could simply prolong the process of recovery. Call us as soon as you can to get your claim started, and to make sure that you get the right help. The Accident Advice Helpline was established to help people just like you, and we win cases every day that change people’s lives – yours could be one of them.
