    Barbecue Accident Counselling

If you are struggling with the psychological after-effects of a barbecue accident, which was due to no fault of your own, it could be useful for you to receive barbecue accident counselling.

    What is a barbecue accident?

A barbecue accident can include all kinds of different incidents, from the seemingly trivial to the more serious. If you have suffered as the result of an accident or injury relating to the use of a faulty barbecue, it is vital that you seek top quality barbecue injury advice from reliable and qualified experts.

In order to be eligible for compensation, your accident needs to have occurred within the last three years. It must also have been the result of negligence on the part of a third party. However, this is not the case with regard to being eligible for barbecue accident counselling. Even if you are not eligible to lodge a formal compensation case in small claims court, you may be eligible to receive compensation for counselling.

A barbecue accident can be extremely painful, debilitating, and can lead to chronic aches and strains in the weeks and months following the incident. There can also be significant psychological trauma, and your doctor may decide to refer you for barbecue accident counselling.

How do I find a counsellor?

If you wish to receive counselling for your accident, you will need to seek a referral from your doctor. In most circumstances, patients are referred to a counsellor by the NHS, but private treatment can be an option. If there is a waiting list for appointments through the NHS, it may be necessary to consult with a private clinic.

    How much will it cost?

While counselling under the NHS is often free, you will be charged for sessions with a private clinic. However, Accident Advice Helpline can help you to recover counselling fees. We cannot directly pay for your treatment, but we can fight to get either a portion or all of the fees returned to you through a personal injury claim.

In order to find out how much counselling compensation you could be eligible for, you can call one of our friendly advisors today. Our expert solicitors work on a no win, no fee basis, so you won’t have to pay any upfront charges when filing your claim.

Am I eligible to make a claim?

You cannot claim for accidents that were a consequence of personal incapacity such as trips and falls due to poor eyesight or poor coordination. However, injuries which have resulted from a failure to maintain barbecue units or the malfunction of any relevant components are often legally attributable to either the manufacturer or owner.

    What is the next step?

If you have received, or require private counselling, and would like help recovering a portion of the costs, then give us a call today on 0800 180 4123. We operate a free 24-hour helpline, and our expert advisors are here to make sure that you are always in the loop when it comes to your case.
