Survivor guide: What are the causes of seasickness?

Seasickness, otherwise known as motion sickness, is believed to be caused by a confusion of sensory signals, and also occurs during car travel, train travel and flights. According to the NHS, many experts agree that motion sickness occurs when our bodily senses conflict and the brain sends the wrong signals to the body.

Motion sickness is unpleasant but usually short-lived

Some of the symptoms of motion sickness typically include nausea, although more severe cases can involve vomiting. Fortunately, the vast majority of cases of motion sickness are short-lived and do not result in any long-term side effects, often ending quickly after leaving the environment that caused the sickness (i.e. leaving a long boat trip, departing a flight).

Have you suffered an injury in an accident that was the fault of someone else?

However, people can still experience accidents like slips, trips and falls  that may not have been their fault. If you have been unfortunate enough to suffer an injury from an accident that was the fault of someone else, you could be entitled to claim personal injury compensation such as work accident compensation.
