No win, no fee Lochcarron claims

It doesn’t take much to guess that Lochcarron, with its quintessentially Scottish name, is indeed located in Scotland. You will have to head up to the Highlands to find it, over on the western side of the area in Wester Ross. Locals who speak Gaelic will know it as Loch Carrann. Fewer than 1,000 people lived here in 2001. Any incidence of no win, no fee Lochcarron claims are usually kept to a minimum, because it is such a quiet village.

Of course, things can go wrong anywhere, and you would only need to be out driving and meet a car coming the other way for there to be the potential of a collision. While you will pass most cars without incident, you never know whether another driver could make an error or a bad decision.

How could two cars on a road collide?

It doesn’t take lots of traffic to create a road accident. Villages and quiet rural areas tend to have higher speed limits than built-up areas. A country road might have a limit of 60mph – even though it may not be safe to drive at this sort of speed.

In reality, it only takes a moment of error from one driver to cause an accident that unwittingly involves someone else. If you are in the other car, you could suddenly find yourself in an accident that takes a mere split-second to happen. If the other car was driving at speed, the consequences could be severe for both parties – even if you weren’t speeding at all.
