A claim can be made with Cheltenham no win no fee* lawyers if you have been injured by a bull in a car accident

In a great example of when Cheltenham no win no fee* lawyers can be extremely useful, the town of Cheltenham, which is situated in the Gloucestershire borough in England, was the location of an incident involving a bull that had escaped a field in Castlemeads Way. The first person to come upon the stray bull was David Smith, a coach driver from Tredworth who works for Cathedral Coaches. He found the bull on the road after he was driving back from Cheltenham where he had just completed his work. Smith made three emergency calls to tell the police that the bull had escaped but until the police arrived, he was helping to prevent the bull from causing any car accidents.

Mr Smith essentially played the role of a matador using a broom to drive the bull away from traffic. Police arrived at the scene after half an hour but by then the bull had already crashed into one car. The bull did not seem to have suffered any ill effects from the collision and police were able to shoo the bull into a nearby field.

David Smith criticised the police for the length of time it took for the police to arrive and said that he was forced to fend off the bull in darkness with lorries travelling at high speed all around him for at least half an hour. He stated that the role he undertook should have been done by police as the bull was a serious danger to vehicles using the road.

In the collision between the bull and a vehicle, a Vauxhall Mocka car suffered serious damage to its front end but luckily the driver, a woman from Gloucester, did not suffer any injuries and walked freely from her vehicle. Gloucestershire Police have stated that they chose not to treat the matter as an urgent priority initially as the bull was only on the side of the road but after they had heard that the bull had collided with a car, they made it an urgent matter.
