No win no fee* in Bridgerule

What to do if you have an accident on holiday and no win no fee* in Bridgerule

If you have an accident while you are on holiday, and you feel that this accident was the fault of someone else, then you will probably want to do something about it. It is possible that you are owed compensation for your accident, but this can be a little more confusing if you are not in your own country to know how and who to report is to. On top of this, it is difficult to know what to do immediately after your accident as well, if you are not in your own country. Here are some tips on what to do immediately after and in the aftermath of an accident on holiday.

Find a hospital through your hotel

If you are on a package holiday then you may also be able to speak to your tour operator. If you want to make a compensation claim then you will have to prove your injuries, and this requires a hospital or doctors visit. Speak to someone at the hotel about finding the best location for you, as they are more likely to know the tourist-friendly establishments.

    Make a complaint

Make sure that you have made a written complaint to the person or business which you feel caused your injury. Sign and date it, and take copies. This will prove that you tackled the problem whilst you were still away, and you can also keep any response as evidence.

    Speak to the local police

A police report will back up your claims in a more official way so, if you feel that you are justified in speaking to the police, do so.

    Get a witness statement

If there are any witnesses willing to speak for you, get them to write down and sign their statement, as well as provide contact details for the future. This will help you to have something to hand when providing evidence for your claim.
