    Whiplash injury in Rothley

Rothley is a village in Leicestershire, with a churchyard that has a Saxon cross in it, showing that the village has been inhabited for centuries. Therefore it should come as no surprise that it was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 although it was then called Rodolei which may have come from an Anglo-Saxon word which means a ‘meadow in a clearing.’

In the Middle Ages the Knights Templar owned a temple or more correctly a preceptory in Rothley, and its chapel is now a part of the Rothley Court Hotel. In 1284 Edward I granted the knights a charter enabling them to hold a weekly market in Mondays and an annual fair in June. The Knights Templar of course were the first tour guides, responsible for escorting pilgrims to the Holy Land.

Have you had a whiplash injury in Rothley?

If you are suffering with a whiplash injury in Rothley you could well be thinking about making a personal injury compensation claim for it. However, you may have little idea about how exactly to make a claim, or whether, in fact, you are entitled to make one. Usually, although not always, depending on the type of accident in which you suffered your whiplash injury in Rothley, you have three years in which to claim if the accident occurred within this country.

However, as some accidents (and so their injuries) have a much shorter period of time for you to make a personal injury compensation claim, you should find out how long you have to file yours. You can do this by calling us at Accident Advice Helpline (the freephone numbers are below).

You need to be able to prove that the accident in which you sustained your whiplash injury in Rothley was not your fault but that of another person. This is crucial to being able to make a claim.

You should also have received medical treatment as soon as you possibly could after the accident and you will need a copy of the medical report to make a personal injury compensation claim.
