    Whiplash Injury in Moulton

    There are at least five places called Moulton in the United Kingdom; the smallest of these is in the Vale of Glamorgan, in south Wales, and the largest of the villages is located in Northamptonshire. You can have an accident anywhere, of course, but if you have sustained a whiplash injury in Moulton (any one of them), or anywhere else in the UK, then you may be entitled to make a personal injury compensation claim.

    Compensation claims for a whiplash injury in Moulton

    If you have sustained a whiplash injury in Moulton, you may be entitled to make a personal injury compensation claim for it. However, there are a few provisos:

    • You must be able to prove that the accident in which you suffered a whiplash injury in Moulton was not your fault, but the fault of another person or organisation;
    • You must have received medical attention for you injury; and
    • You must have informed the police of your accident, if it happened in the street.

    Finding an expert personal injury lawyer

    In order to file any type of personal injury compensation claim, you would normally need the help of a personal injury lawyer. As there are so many different types of accidents, lawyers tend to specialise in just one area of the law. You would need to find a specialist in the area that covers your type of accident. For example, if you had an accident in the street, or in a building that is open to the public, you would need a specialist whose main area of expertise lies in dealing with accidents in public places.

    You may need to contact several law firms before you find the right personal injury lawyer, and you may not be feeling quite well enough to do this. However, you should discuss your potential claim with a lawyer as soon as possible after your accident, as although you usually have three years from the date of an accident in which to make a claim, that isn’t always the case; you may have a much shorter time period in which to claim, depending on the type of accident in which you were injured.

    If you need help to find a suitable lawyer who could represent you on a no win no fee basis, then call us at Accident Advice Helpline. We are a law firm that works with a team of expert personal injury lawyers, and we can put you in touch with one of these.
