    "If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Whiplash accident in the UK

    If you at some point suffer a whiplash injury, then most people presume that you sustained it as a result of a car accident. However, there are many other ways in which you can suffer this injury.

    If you do suffer from a whiplash accident in the UK, then you may be entitled to make an injury compensation claim using the solicitors at Accident Advice Helpline to help you, as long as the accident which caused the injury was not your fault.

    Here are some of the other ways in which you can suffer a whiplash accident in the UK

    You could sustain a whiplash injury in the UK if you:

    • Fell down some stairs that had no railing;
    • Were hit on the head by a falling object;
    • Were thrown from your motorbike by a pothole; and
    • Tripped up a broken paving slab.

    These are just a sample of the ways in which you could suffer a whiplash injury. If you have done so in any situation, then you may want to make a personal injury compensation claim using the solicitors at Accident Advice Helpline for assistance.

    Why some innocent people do not make a claim for a whiplash accident in the UK

    Fewer than half of the innocent people who are entitled to compensation actually make a claim. This is because of many reasons. For example:

    Open Claim Calculator

    • They think it will cost too much money;
    • They do not think it will be worth their effort; and
    • They think it is “wrong” to do so.

    These are just three of the common things that people believe, which we will try to answer so that you can see why you should make a claim for a whiplash accident in the UK.

    They think it will cost too much money

    Here at Accident Advice Helpline, we operate on a no win no fee basis so just this situation does not arise. No money is needed to start the claim, or if the claim is lost.

    They do not think it will be worth their effort

    How much you are awarded depends on many factors, but if a victim completes our 30-second test they can at least get an estimate of how much they might be due. Although this is only that — an estimate — it can help the victim to decide whether or not they want to continue with a claim for their whiplash accident in the UK.

    They think it is wrong

    This could not be further from the truth. If someone causes you to be injured, as well as the pain and suffering you will have you could have lots of unexpected expenses and losses associated with the accident. Why should you have to find all this extra money yourself? Whoever put you in this situation should pay – that is the law in the UK, and victims should exercise that legal right.

    Hopefully, any victims reading this will understand how simple the whole process can be for them, and how stress-free it can be to get the compensation they deserve after being injured in an accident that was not their fault.
