    Vehicle accident attorneys

Road traffic accidents can inflict a wide range of injuries, from mild whiplash right through to severe brain and spinal cord injuries.

If you have been injured in a road traffic accident that was not your fault, you may be able to make a compensation claim through the 100% no win no fee vehicle accident attorneys here at Accident Advice Helpline. To make a successful claim, you will need to show that:

    • The person or organisation at fault for your accident should have taken reasonable steps to prevent you from becoming injured
    • The injury you suffered was a direct and foreseeable consequence of that person or organisation’s failure to protect you from harm

If you feel you have a case for compensation, but lack the evidence required to prove the aforementioned points, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via our Freephone helpline on 0800 689 0500 and let our trained claims advisors look into your case. They will determine the actions you need to take to substantiate your allegations, which may involve gathering evidence such as witness contact details, photographs of your injuries and sketches of the accident scene.

Will my vehicle accident attorneys require medical evidence?

As part of your claim, your vehicle accident attorneys will arrange for you to attend a consultation with an experienced medical specialist. If the resulting medical report fails to link your injuries to your accident, you will not be able to take your claim any further. This does not mean that the medical specialist does not believe your injury is genuine, but that in his/her expert opinion, your injury is not attributable to your accident.

What happens if the evidence supports my claim?

If the investigations into your case go well, and all the evidence collected is supportive, your vehicle accident attorneys will attempt to negotiate the settlement of your claim. They will discuss the potential value of your claim with you and may suggest making a Part 36 offer with the aim of settling your claim. If the person or organisation on the receiving end of your claim fails to agree on a fair settlement offer, your legal team may need to start court proceedings.
