You are entitled to make a claim for personal injury compensation if you have suffered any sort of injury for which somebody else was to blame, because of their negligence or carelessness.
Does it matter how you were hurt?
You may have been injured in an accident at work or on the road in a slip, trip or fall, or you may have been the victim of medical negligence. No matter how you came by your injuries, Accident Advice Helpline has the expertise to help you with your compensation claim.
What types of injuries does Accident Advice Helpline deal with?
Accident Advice Helpline has been established since the year 2000 and we are one of the UK’s leading law firms. We have dealt with claims for a vast range of injuries and conditions including:
- Asbestosis and mesothelioma
- Industrial deafness and tinnitus
- Repetitive strain injuries
- Crush injuries
- Vibration white finger
- Dermatitis and skin diseases
- Achilles tendon injuries
- Back injuries
- Broken bones
- Sprains, strains and ruptures
Even if your particular injury is not listed, it is still likely that we have dealt with similar cases to yours. It is simply not possible to list every single type of injury, as they are so numerous and varied. The important thing to note is that we have a team of specialist solicitors who have vast experience of all types of injuries. This puts us in the position of being able to put your case in the hands of the solicitor whose knowledge and experience makes them most suitable to pursue a successful claim on your behalf.
Can you check compensation amounts for different types of injuries?
You might like to try our handy compensation calculator which we call the 30-second test. Remember that compensation amounts cannot be guaranteed, only estimated. However, it can give you a guide as to how much compensation you might be eligible for, based on different types of injuries, and help you decide whether or not you want to start a claim.
What is the time limit for you to make a claim?
You must usually start your claim within three years of your injury. There are some exceptions, such as industrial diseases, where the time limit begins from when you became aware of your condition. If you are in any doubt, get in touch and our team will be happy to advise whether or not you are likely to have a valid claim.
