    Tunbridge Wells compensation

Should you be injured by a faulty product, you may be able to make a Tunbridge Wells compensation claim against the manufacturer or the shop in which you bought it as long as you can prove that the fault was with the product when you bought it and not caused by negligence on your part. Your injury lawyer should be able to help you to make a successful claim for a faulty product, but here are some tips which will help you to make your claim successfully from the start.

    Keep all of your receipts

If you have a receipt which proves that you bought the item, and bought it recently, it is much harder for a store to deny that they sold you the item and thus claim that they don’t owe you compensation. Similarly, the manufacturer will not be able to deny you the compensation that you deserve.

    Investigate what went wrong

If it was an electrical item which went wrong, for example, it may be worth paying out for an electrician to take a look at the item and work out what went wrong and why. A report from an electrician which claims that the product has been faulty since you bought it will help your case along well.

    Take photographs

Take photographs of the object, the injuries that you have sustained and the scene surrounding the accident as soon as possible. This will help you to prove exactly what happened in your accident and what part of the object was faulty. Photographs are great forms of evidence as they are hard for the store or manufacturer to argue against.

Making a Tunbridge Wells compensation claim

When you believe that you do have a good case for compensation, and that an injury lawyer should be able to put together a strong case for a successful claim on your behalf, the next step is to find one who can help.

    Open Claim Calculator

Call Accident Advice Helpline on 0800 689 0500 or 0333 500 0993 from a mobile phone, or you can text “claim365” to 88010 to speak to the team about your accident and they will be able to give you some idea as to how strong your case is. You are under no obligation to proceed with a claim after this initial conversation but, if you do, you will be teamed with an injury lawyer who will work for you and on your behalf to process your claim. You will be kept updated as your claim progresses, and may not even have to go to court.
