"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Tripped on the road

You may be already aware that it’s possible to receive personal injury compensation for an accident that was not your fault, e.g. if you have tripped on the road due to the local authority’s failure to maintain pavements properly. However we understand that in real life, there can be quite a lot of factors that confuse matters.

I have tripped on the road, but it’s complicated

Perhaps you are confused about the exact date the accident took place. Perhaps the details are a little blurry in your memory. It may be that you are infirm and have ongoing health issues that require regular medical attention anyway, and you are not entirely sure about whether you would be eligible for a claim. You might be unsure about what to do, or whether to do anything at all.

That’s where Accident Advice Helpline can help. As experts in this area of personal injury law, we understand that many cases are complicated. However we believe that while monetary compensation can’t change the past, it can certainly help with the future and we would urge anyone who thinks they may have a case to find out. The general guidelines state that if an accident is not your fault, you received medical attention and it took place within the last three years, there’s a chance you may be eligible for some compensation.
