A quick guide to claiming with our Stafford accident claim solicitors

If you are thinking about claiming compensation because you’ve been hurt in an accident that wasn’t your fault then this quick guide to claiming should help you.

You can make an accident claim for any sort of accident, so long as someone else was at fault, and you can claim for any injury, no matter how bad it was, because even those minor injuries can have a major impact!

    How to claim

If you are owed compensation, then claiming it couldn’t be easier; we can provide you with all the help and support that you need, then our Stafford accident claim solicitors will take care of the rest, and hopefully it won’t be too long before you get your money.

But there are a few things that you can do to help get your claim off to a good start, and to make sure that you get all of the compensation that you are entitled to!

    1. When you claim, you will have a telephone consultation with our Stafford accident claim solicitors, and it is vital that you give them as much information as you can, about your accident, your injury, and how everything has affected your life. To make sure that you don’t miss out any important details, it may help to write everything down before you call. Include anything you can remember, you never know what little detail may turn out to be important!
    2. Is there anything you have which may help your solicitors with your claim? Things that could help your solicitor include photos of your injuries or the scene of your accident, contact details for witnesses and copies of police reports, or complaints that you have written.
    3. Part of the money that you receive will be to reimburse you for any financial loses, or costs that your accident caused you, so write a list of your expenses and keep hold of the relevant receipts, invoices and bank/ credit card statements.
    4. Make sure that you are fully recovered before you claim! You can only claim once; if you claim too soon then you may not get all of the compensation that you are entitled to.

Doing any or all of these thing will help your Stafford accident claim solicitors get your claim off to a good start. Accident claims are usually dealt with quite quickly so it shouldn’t be too long before your solicitors get you your compensation, then you can draw a line under your ordeal and move forward!
