"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Sports compensation

Injuries are to be expected in sports, especially where physical contact is part of the game, such as in rugby or football.

There’s always some risk involved when playing any sport and everyone participating will be aware of the possibility of being injured during a game or match and accept it as just another part of the game.

Tensions can often run high and sometimes an injury to a player may be more than just as a result of the rough and tumble of sport.

If you have been deliberately injured by a competitor and have suffered as a result, then you may be able to claim for sports compensation. Your first reaction may be to shrug off the incident, but if your injury means you’ve had to take time off work or it’s had an adverse affect on your life, you may want to think again.

If your injury was caused through someone else’s recklessness then you deserve to make a claim for sports compensation.
