South Norfolk Accident Claim Solicitors for a Winter Accident

Although early darkness and cold, windy evenings can be depressing, try and make the most of them by getting out of the office at lunch time if you can and going for a quick walk to catch any winter sunshine there is.

At weekends don’t just sit inside or go out to the shops, but try and make time for a walk through some lovely autumn leaves or even a bike ride, alongside a canal or nearby river if possible to see if you can spot some wildlife.

Go for a Walk, Enjoy the Outdoors

A sighting of ducklings or swans can be great to lift your spirits and you might even get some nice photos too. If it gets too rainy or cold, you can always stop for a pub lunch so either way, you have a nice day.

Of course you have to be careful in the cold and wet, wrap up warm, wear sensible shoes and if you are cycling, make sure that your brakes are working well, and that your tyres are rugged enough to cope in the wet. Use a bell, head lights and tail lights. Take a simple repair kit in case of any problems.

If you cycle carefully there should not be any problems. If you’re going under any bridges, whether on foot or by bike, check there’s no one coming the other way first. Sometimes on a canal bridges can be really narrow.

Call us if you have an Accident

Even if you’re really careful, you could have an accident that’s not your fault. Your bike may be poorly manufactured and fall apart while you’re riding it, or chunks of masonry from a bridge you go under could fall on your head. You may accidentally fall in the river and get a skin disease from the water or you could slip on the autumn leaves and break a leg.

Lots of things can happen when you’re out and about and that’s why we have a specialist team of South Norfolk accident claim solicitors.
