Accidents while in employment
Every work place has a duty to ensure the safety of their employees comes first and foremost at all times. This is also the case with those who are in employment with the MoD. Particularly when in the army, it’s an essential requirement that you are provided with the correct and working equipment at all times. In addition to this, you must have passed complete training in order to demonstrate that you know what you are doing and what is involved in your job.
In all jobs, accidents can and do happen. If you work in a warehouse for example, you may slip, trip or fall on something that shouldn’t be there, or you could end up in an accident through falling boxes or faulty equipment. It’s particularly important that you are trained, looked after and supported within your role.
Anyone can make a claim for an accident in the workplace. As long as someone else was at fault, you should talk to us about making a claim for compensation.
