"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

Solicitors in Diss can help you

Have you had a car accident recently? Whether it was a major accident in which your car was written off, or a minor one that needed a trip to the garage for a few repairs, you could claim compensation.

    Who qualifies to claim?

If the accident was caused by someone else – i.e. the other driver – and you were injured in the accident, you could make a claim.

To see whether you qualify, why not take our 30-second test? It is available on the Accident Advice Helpline website, and will also give you an estimate of the value of your claim.

How do you get started with a claim?

Beginning a claim is easy, because you can just ring up Accident Advice Helpline and speak to an advisor; once this happens, the wheels will be set in motion!

Our friendly, professional advisors are fully trained to guide you through the process of making a claim, and they will treat you with empathy and sensitivity throughout.

There are some things that you will need to make sure of, in order to maximise your chance of success in your claim. Below are some tips.

What to do if you are in a car accident

First of all, make sure you are OK, and that everyone else at the scene – your passengers, and the occupants of the other vehicle involved – is all right, too. Call the police if you are injured, or anyone else is injured, or if there is any damage to property.

Secondly, exchange contact details with the other driver. You will need their name, address, and their insurance details.

Thirdly, take photographs. Most mobile phones have a camera function, so take as many pictures as you can. Capture the road conditions, as well as the damage to your vehicle and any property; later, in the privacy of your own home, take photos of your injuries.

Doing all of the above will really help to process your claim and secure you a payout.
