    What about compensation?

We appreciate that you probably want to know how much you may be entitled to in terms of compensation. Below you will find some approximate figures regarding different types of injuries. It is imperative to note that none of these are set in stone and should simply be used as a guide. You will find out further information about your case specifically when you give us a call.

Head Injuries – Head injuries pay out a vast array of amounts because they range from minor to extremely severe cases, such as severe brain damage. If you have suffered a minor head injury you may be entitled to claim anything in the region of £1,450 to £8,400. However, severe brain injury cases can end up paying out in excess of £250,000.

Wrist Injuries – Unfortunately, wrist injuries are common because this is one of the most vulnerable parts of your arm. There are many different types of wrist injuries, with the most severe being complete loss of function, which can result in £30,000 – £40,000 in compensation. Nevertheless, you can still receive approximately £3,000 for wrist fractures that will be fully healed over time.

Leg Injuries – Leg injuries are also extremely common. Minor leg injuries will result in compensation of up to £5,000, whilst a leg fracture can lead to a pay out of up to £19,000. In serious cases amputation may be required, or you may experience a complete loss of leg use, if this happens you can expect to claim up to £200,000.

Back Injuries – The final example is back and spine injuries, which tend to be common injuries caused by workplace accidents. Minor injuries can result in compensation in the region of £5,000 – £7,500, whilst serious injuries can lead to compensation of up to £120,000.
