    What is product liability insurance?

    This is an insurance policy that companies can take out if they manufacture, distribute or sell products to the public. It basically covers them for any claims that are made against them because someone has been injured by a product.

    What sorts of injuries are covered?

    All sorts of injuries are covered because products can cause all sorts of injuries. For example burns, cuts, scalds, broken bones and head injuries. A claim can only be made if the injury was not the persons own fault. This means that if you purposely hurt yourself with the product you could not make a claim.
