"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Personal injury insurance settlement

Are you wondering how much your personal injury insurance settlement might be worth? Well, if you contact Accident Advice Helpline, we can give you a very good estimate.

    How we work

We were formed in 2000 with the express purpose of making it easier for people to make personal injury claims. Because legal aid does not apply to personal injury litigation, many people felt that they were being excluded from the legal system simply because they could not always afford the money it would need to make a claim. For us that seemed unfair, so we worked to ensure everyone could have a fair crack at the whip by taking all the risks associated with making a claim onto our shoulders.

In addition, we decided to make it easier to source information, and this begins with the content on our website. You can spend time reading up on every aspect of personal injury law, which puts you in a better position once the time comes to make a claim. As a part of this, we can also give you an idea about how much your personal injury insurance settlement might be worth through a handy online tool known as the 30-second test.

About your personal injury insurance settlement

The 30-second test is what we call our compensation calculator. This is a free online tool which allows you to see at a glance how much compensation you might be entitled to if you are successful in making a claim.

The first thing anyone ever asks us about this tool is how we come up with the figure. It is true that this is only an estimate and that we cannot guarantee how much the court might award when the time comes to make a decision, but it is based on the same criteria that the court will use.

    Open Claim Calculator

Put simply, your personal injury insurance settlement will be made up of two different figures: one will be related to the severity of the injury itself, while the other will be related to any costs that might have arisen as a result of the accident.

This could include travel costs and the expense of seeking out any medical attention designed to help get you back on your feet. We will take all this into account and come up with a figure that we believe is appropriate. The court may well reach a different conclusion – it could be more or less, but it will be based on the same approach.

    A safety net

Because it is never possible to be certain about the outcome of any personal injury claim, it can always help to know what you have a safety net to fall back on should things not go your way. Here at Accident Advice Helpline we work on the basis of no win no fee*, which means that no matter what happens, you will only have to pay if you win.
