Personal injury claim companies could be important to you if you have been injured in an accident that was not your fault. Accidents and injuries can affect your life totally, and alter the way you live from day to day. They can mean that you are not longer able to do things for yourself, or maybe have to give up a job you loved.
Of course, not all accidents result in injuries that affect your life that much, but even if you suffer an injury that you recover from in just a few weeks, your life will still be in turmoil until you are better.
Then there are the financial implications to consider – accidents always bring extra expenses with them. There can be:
- Medical expenses
- Travelling expenses
- Help around the home
- Adaptions to your home
These are just a tiny sample of costs you may have to bear after an accident, and why should you if someone else was at fault?
There can also be emotional problems after an accident, and our solicitors will take account of these as well. In fact, they will include everything in your claim to assure that you are awarded the maximum amount for your particular circumstances.
Don’t wait three years to contact personal injury claim companies
There are time limits on making a personal injury claim, and at Accident Advice Helpline, we have to adhere to them, as does any other law firm in the personal injury claim industry. For most accidents you have just three years to get your claim started, but there are some exceptions to this rule.
If you were a child at the time of the accident, and no one made a claim for you then, you have three years from your 18th birthday to start your claim. If you are claiming for an industrial illness, they can take many years to manifest themselves. For this reason you have three years from the date of diagnosis.
However, if you want to make a claim for an accident in the air or at sea, you only have two years to start your claim.
There are other variations to the time limit rule, but just don’t leave it too late to call the friendly advisors at Accident Advice Helpline. They will be able to explain everything about making claims, and answer all your questions about compensation.
Three years goes very quickly, so it would be a good idea to given them a call today. You can call from a landline on 0800 689 0500, or from your mobile on 0333 500 0993.
