    Oxfordshire accident

If you live in Oxfordshire and have been injured in an accident, you may be wondering if you can make a personal injury compensation claim. To find out if you can claim after your Oxfordshire accident, why not contact us at Accident Advice Helpline now?

Making a claim after an Oxfordshire accident

If you want to make a personal injury compensation claim after an Oxfordshire accident, you have to be able to demonstrate that you were a victim of the accident. You will also need to establish that someone else was responsible for the accident because of their negligence or reckless behaviour. Of course, you may need help to prove these things, so why not contact us at Accident Advice Helpline?

Of course, if the police investigated the causes of your accident, they will have compiled an accident report when they have finished their investigations. This should help you prove that you were not to blame for the accident. It should also state clearly why and how the accident occurred.

After your accident you should have received medical treatment for your injuries. You can prove that you did on production of your medical records. They are required if you pursue any injury claim.

Your medical records will be needed to calculate the amount of compensation you receive for your pain, distress and suffering and any loss of amenity, if your claim is successful.

How much compensation can I get?

We can’t tell you exactly how much you might be awarded if your claim is successful. However, you could receive both general damages and special ones. General damages are for your injuries. Special damages are to reimburse you for any expenses you have had, or will incur solely because of your injuries. These can cover loss of earnings, both past and future, all medical bills and prescription charges and so on.
