A Broken leg injury can make you eligible for Oxford office accident claims
The city of Oxford that is situated in the south-east of England is the location of the Oxford Hospital that has been completing medical treatment for an accident at the Pinewood Studios.
The Pinewood Studios are currently the site of the filming of the new Star Wars film and one of its actors, Harrison Ford, suffered a broken leg while on the set filming a scene. Initially it was thought that he have injured his ankle but diagnosis at the Oxford Hospital has revealed that it was a broken leg.
The incident is reported to have involved the door of the spacecraft that his character, Han Solo, pilots in the series the “Millennium Falcon”. Publicists for Ford have stated that surgery has been successful and after rehabilitation, he will get back to work on the film.
The company that owns Star Wars, Disney, has stated that the accident will not affect the shooting of the movie that has a release date of December 2015. The Star Wars film is the seventh in the series and is being directed by JJ Abrams, well known for his directing work on the rebooted Star Trek films and television shows such as Lost, Fringe and Alias.
Episode VII will be set 35 years after the 1983 Star Wars film “Return of the Jedi” and will feature returning characters Princess Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker and the aforementioned Han Solo.
Not much is known about the plot as yet but Abrams has indicated that it will revolve around the core characters of Han, Luke and Leia. Originally the screenplay was being written by Michael Arndt and it was reported that he envisioned the plot revolving around the children of Luke, Leia and Han.
However, he was replaced by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan, screenplay writer on “The Empire Strikes Back” and they have indicated their enthusiasm for the plot focusing on the original trilogy characters. In addition to filming in the UK, there has been filming in Abu Dhabi in May where it is likely that the scenes were set on Luke’s home planet of Tatooine.
