    If you’ve been involved in an overseas accident, you may be looking for help and advice regarding making a compensation claim. Although suffering any type of accident or injury can be traumatic, suffering an overseas accident can be particularly difficult with which to cope, particularly if a language barrier limits the help that you’re able to obtain.

    If you obtained travel insurance prior to taking your trip, it’s likely that you’ll have been able to obtain medical help following your overseas accident. However, once you’re back in the United Kingdom you may need to seek follow-up treatment, depending on the type of accident in which you were involved or the type of injury that you sustained.

    In some cases, people can suffer an overseas accident while they’re travelling, so you may find that it’s the travel company who are actually responsible for the harm you suffered, and you may be able to obtain compensation from them.
