    No Win No Fee

How many times have you seen the following combination of words?

    NO WIN NO FEE

You’ll have seen them in newspaper advertisements, television commercials, cinema commercials, unsolicited flyers crammed through your letter-box perhaps and maybe on the side of a bus. They appear at the top of pages, they appear emblazoned across the middle of house-sized advertising hoardings and they sometimes appear at the bottom of the page, almost as if they’re afraid to be read.

So we’ve established that you’ve seen the words above and read the words above, probably without giving them too much thought. But can you believe the words above? You can certainly understand them, but do you interpret their meaning to actually mean, no win no fee? There you go again, you’ve just read the four words in question, they almost crept up on you that time didn’t they.

    A Bit of a Shuffle

By now you must be thinking, why all the interest? What’s so special about the phrase “no win no fee”? Nothing special, could be your first thought. But what if a few extra words were added, words like “hundred” or “per cent” or “one”, though not necessarily in that order. What you get now, with a bit of a shuffle is “one hundred per cent no win no fee”. We just need to neaten things up a bit…

Hopefully you’ll agree that this is something of an improvement over the basic “no win no fee”. The real difference of course, is that you don’t see this everywhere, but you do see it here at Accident Advice Helpline. It’s in plain sight for you to read, no skulking in the shadows or lurking in the margin, it’s bold, visible and it means exactly what it says.

Synonymous with Honesty and Fair Play

How can you be so sure you ask? How can this collection of words be trusted? Well the words don’t have to speak for themselves, because here at Accident Advice Helpline, we have Esther Rantzen as company Patron. For longer than Accident Advice Helpline has been around, which is in excess of 15 years, Esther Rantzen has been championing the rights of the consumer. Her name is synonymous with honesty and fair play.
