No win no fees in the UK

No win no fees in the UK explained.

We have all seen the advertisements promoting the services of no win no fees solicitors. While it all sounds very tempting if you are someone considering making a compensation claim the truth is that very few of us really understand what it is all about. If you are one of the many who have no idea what a solicitor working for no win no fees in the UK actually does here are a few pointers that can help you.

What are no win no fees?

This does not mean that a court case will be completed free of charge. Even the best companies who use no win no fees in the UK , however experienced they may be, cannot process a claim free of charge. It is, after all, how they make their living. So no win no fee means exactly what it says. That if you win you will not be liable to pay a fee. The solicitor handling your case will forego his fees should s/he lose your case.

This does not mean that there are no fees attached to the case at all as the courts and medical professions involved all have to be paid; should you win, these will all have been been built into your overall compensation payout from the other party so you will not notice them.  It is important however to notice that should you win you still have to pay twenty five percent of the costs involved.

    Other costs

Apart from the actual fees charged by the company themselves for their services you are likely to only incur charges if you need to attend medical appointments; the professional you are visiting has to charge for his or her time and this bill will all be added to your account. You should always discuss with your solicitor working no win no fees in the UK. what will happen to your incurred costs should you lose your claim and not win. Many claims can be handled via telephone so that the costs incurred are minimal; but never enter a personal injury claim without fully understanding what type of bill you may be presented with should the worst happen.

    Getting Advice.

One of the best moves that you can make before starting a personal injury claim of any type is to get advice from an experienced professional company such as Accident Advice Helpline. They have over ten years experience in handling personal injury claims and they have over two hundred solicitors all of whom work a no win no fee basis with their clients.
