"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    No win, no fee* law

People need legal advice in all sorts of situations. Family law advice is needed for family matters such as divorce. Property law advice is needed when moving home or in disputes with neighbours. Personal injury law advice is needed if you have been injured in an accident that was not your fault and you are seeking compensation. Legal advice is charged for in several ways. Sometimes a fixed fee for a job is agreed. Sometimes, lawyers charge per hour. Personal injury solicitors often work with a system called no win, no fee* law. You may find the following information about no win, no fee* law useful.

Finding a personal injury solicitor who works with the no win, no fee* law system

Amazingly, you will not need to make endless phone calls and internet searches to find a solicitor who works with the no win no fee law system. All you have to do is make one phone call to a claims management company like Accident Advice Helpline. You know that you can trust them because they have been working in the personal injury claims business for over a decade. They also have the endorsement of Esther Rantzen, the famous consumer champion. They can take your call anytime of the day or night; that’s 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Using the no win, no fee* law system

It is best for the outcome of your claim if you contact the claims management company as soon as possible after you are injured. However, do not panic if you have not done that because you have up to three years to make a claim for slips, trips, falls and road traffic accidents. When you call Accident Advice Helpline, the first stage in the process is to take the unique 30 second test. This will give you an idea about whether your claim is likely to be successful or not. Once you have the information from the test, you can decide to go ahead with the claim or not. You will then be assigned one of a national network of 200 legal partners. All of the legal partners work in the no win, no fee* law system. Put simply, this means that if you lose you pay nothing.

What you can expect from the no win, no fee* law system

You will have to do very little. It’s useful if you keep records of medical appointments for your injury and of money that you have lost as a result of your injury. You may need to get a medical assessment prepared by a local doctor. However, it is very unlikely that you will actually have to attend an appointment with your lawyer – it will all be dealt with by phone. Very few cases appear in court. The exact amount of time that it will take and the exact amount of compensation that you will receive cannot be guaranteed at the start of the process as every case is different.
