Am I able to make a claim for my injuries?

There are a few things that you must be in a position to prove if you make a personal injury compensation claim.

    Open Claim Calculator

    • You must prove that you did not cause the accident in which you were injured.
    • You have also to prove that the accident was the fault of someone else.
    • You have to demonstrate that you had medical treatment for your injuries very shortly after your accident.

If the police were at the accident scene, for example, it may have been a road traffic accident, and they will have investigated the cause. When they know how and why the accident happened, they compile an accident report. This should prove that you were a victim of the accident and you will need a copy of it if you make a claim.

You can prove that you had medical treatment as soon as you could have done on production of your medical records.

You need to find out how long you have left to file a claim. Do this by contacting us at Accident Advice Helpline now.
