    Musselburgh compensation

Are you claiming Musselburgh compensation for an accident which happened at home? If an accident or injury occurs on your property, you may assume that you won’t be eligible to make a claim for Musselburgh compensation, particularly if you’re the property owner. Although you won’t be able to make a claim if you caused the incident, if the incident was caused by someone or something else, it may still be possible for you to make a claim for Musselburgh compensation, even if the accident or injury occurred on your land. If, for example, someone else was in or on your property and they caused an accident, you may be able to make a claim for compensation against them.

Do you need to claim Musselburgh compensation?

If they entered your land without your permission, making a claim might seem fairly straightforward, but you could make a successful claim against them, even if you allowed them onto your property. A common instance in which someone enters your property and then causes an accident is when they are carrying out work on your home or your garden. If you select a firm to work with, or council workers needs to work on your property, and they cause an accident or injury, there’s a good chance that you will be able to obtain compensation from them.

Even if they had left the property at the time the incident occurred, they can still be held responsible for the incident, if the blame can be traced back to them. In some cases, an independent specialist may even be dispatched in order to examine the scene of the accident in order to determine what happened. If this independent worker identifies the construction workers or engineers as the cause of the incident, making a claim could be relatively easy.

If your home or your property has been damaged, as well as yourself or a member of your family, it’s likely that you will be able to claim for the damage also. If your house insurance, or your buildings and contents insurance is valid, it is likely that your insurer will pay out for any damage to your home.
