Mansfield No Win No Fee Accident Claim

How to motivate yourself to get back to work after an accident, and make a no win no fee accident claim

If you have had a serious accident, which has caused you injuries that are going to take some time to recover from, no one is expecting you to get back to work right away. In fact, if your injuries are serious enough, you should be signed of work by your doctor for a while, to allow you to fully heal and recover before you will even think about getting back to work.

The problem with taking so much time off, though, is that it can then be difficult to get back into work, even if you are feeling better. Here are some ways to motivate yourself to do so.

    • Focus on the future. However unready you may feel when it comes to going back to work, when you think about 5 years in the future you probably don’t still picture yourself housebound and out of work. Decide that going back to work is the first step in making your future a reality and get ready to head back.
    • Set a date. If you have set a date to return to work, and let your employer know that you are coming back, it is far more difficult for you to wriggle out of it as the date approaches. Give yourself plenty of time, but make it close enough that you can start planning to return to work right away.
    • Think about what you are missing. There is actually nothing more boring that having to sit around the house all day every day, and after a week or so of this you should be bored out of your mind Think about going back to work as a chance to catch up on what you missed and starting to enjoy your days again.
    • Buy a new outfit. Something as simple as buying a new outfit or briefcase for your first day at work can make you feel so much more motivated to go back, so do this as soon as you feel well enough.
