    Llandudno accident at work compensation

After a serious accident at work in which you believe that your employer has been negligent, you should be able to make a Llandudno accident at work compensation claim against them. Compensation will help you to pay for any medical bills and other expenses that can crop up after your accident, as well as lost earnings due to the time you have to take off work to recover.

If your employer knows that they were at fault for your accident then they may offer you compensation to begin with, but some employers may try to get away with it and blame you for what has happened. Here are some of the reasons that your employer would be at fault for your accident, so that you can use this in your complaint.

If they haven’t trained you properly

No employer should allow a new person to start in their job without having the appropriate training first. Some jobs will require more training than others, but all jobs will require a level of training to ensure that the employee knows how to stay safe in their job and do the job properly.

If they haven’t provided you with appropriate equipment

You should have up-to-date and well-maintained equipment to help you to do your job at all times. If something isn’t working properly then it should be repaired or replaced before you are asked to work on it again. Any accident which has occurred when using equipment which doesn’t work properly is absolutely the fault of the employer, and they cannot fire you for refusing to work with it.

    If the workplace is unsafe

Although you should keep your workspace clean and neat, the rest of the space should be kept safe by your employer. It should be clean and free of hazards, and your employer shouldn’t let you get to work when there is a hazard which hasn’t been cleared away yet.
