Can I make an accident claim if I did not take any time off work?

Many people wrongly assume that they will not be able to receive compensation if they returned to work immediately after their accident. If you have incurred pain, suffering, and or financial losses as a result of your accident, you will be entitled to make a claim.

Can I make an accident claim if I did not receive hospital treatment?

If you did not attend your local hospital in the immediate aftermath of your accident, you will still be able to make a claim. However, it will be necessary for you to prove that you at least sought a check-up with your GP.

Is there a time limit for making an accident claim?

The vast majority of personal injury claims are associated with a three-year time limit. This means that you must make your claim within three years of the date of your accident. If you were under the age of 18 at the time of your accident, you can make a claim at any time up until your 21st birthday.

Some accident claims are associated with shorter time limits, so you must seek legal advice as soon as possible. If you fail to get in touch with an accident lawyer in a timely manner, you may struggle to obtain the evidence required to substantiate your claim.
