Law is no win no fee

What in law is no win no fee?

Anyone who has been in an accident and sustained an injury as a result has an entitlement to file a personal injury compensation claim. Unfortunately, there is no right to legal aid in such cases and this means that filing a claim can be very expensive indeed. In order to help people with this, many personal injury lawyers, like Accident Advice Helpline offer their services on a no win no fee basis, but what exactly in law is no win no fee?

    No win no fee explained

No win no fee claims were created in order to allow anyone to pursue a compensation claim, whether they had the funds to do so or not. In order to benefit from no win no fee, one must hire a no win no fee lawyer to take on their case.

If you are involved in an accident and you want to make a claim, you will find personal injury firms like ours will offer to take on your case on a no win no fee basis. This simply means that we will not require any fees from you up until we are successful in securing a compensation settlement for you.

What the law is on no win no fee

If we are unable to obtain the compensation you deserve, then you will not have to pay our solicitors’ fees.

However, we do succeed in winning a compensation award on your behalf, you will need to pay us a percentage of your settlement as our fee. We will always agree on this percentage upfront, so that there will be no nasty shocks when your case comes to an end. The maximum we can charge is usually 25% of your compensating award, but the top rate is not always charged.
