If you’ve had a fall and hit your head, you may be worried about concussion. Here are some symptoms of concussion, so if you’re unsure check.

    • Feeling sick or dizzy
    • Seeing “stars” or flashing lights, or other visual disturbances
    • Slurred speech
    • Passing out
    • Vomiting

Of course, these feelings are very similar to when you’re very drunk, so if a person has been drinking and also hits their head, keep a special eye on them.

If the injury isn’t serious, the person who has hit their head should rest for a while, and a bag of frozen peas is great to put on any lumps or lumps. An over the counter pain killer, like paracetamol or aspirin is perfect for keeping the pain away.

If symptoms seem serious at any time, do call an ambulance or take the injured person to A&E. The staff there can keep an eye on them, and if they need treatment they are in the best place.

Can I make an Irvine no win no fee accident claim for concussion?
