    "If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Esther Rantzen

    Injury solicitors in Swanage

    When we launched Accident Advice Helpline, we simply wanted to make it easier for people to find a personal injury lawyer. However, even we couldn’t have imagined how popular our service would be. We’ve helped people in every part of the country, which means that if you want to find injury solicitors in Swanage, we’re the place to go.

    About us

    In 1997, the government put an end to legal aid for people looking to make personal injury claims. This move succeeded in its main aim of reducing the amount of frivolous claims being made, but it had an unintended knock-on effect in that it meant many people who had fair and very real claims felt excluded from the legal system.

    Accident Advice Helpline were set up in 2000, partly as a response against this move. We believed that it was important that people received as much help as possible in making a claim, so that’s what we set out to do.

    Free advice

    The first way in which we did this was our free 24-hour helpline. This meant that everyone in the country had access to a personal injury lawyer regardless of where they were or what time it was. All you needed to do was pick up a phone and straight away you’d be talking to an expert.

    During this conversation, we look at your case and tell you what we think we should do. We assess each claim against basic factors, such as:

    Open Claim Calculator

    • Whose fault it was;
    • When it happened; and
    • How badly you’ve been hurt.

    Under UK law, you can only make a claim for an accident within three years. Any longer than that and it’s automatically disqualified, regardless of merit. You also have to illustrate that the accident was not your fault, and that your injury has had an impact on your life.

    That could be in terms of physical impairment, reduction in the quality of life or just the expense of getting treated. Perhaps you’ve been forced off work, or you’re having to pay out money in order to meet the costs. Either way, you should be compensated.

    A no-risk proposition

    An important plank of our offering was the idea that nobody would have to commit to anything. This advice came free of charge with no obligation to use our services, but there was one great reason why we felt people would use us – the idea of no win no fee.

    Finding injury solicitors in Swanage

    When we help people to find injury solicitors in Swanage, they have the reassurance of knowing that every lawyer we work with offers no win no fee as standard. That reduces the risk associated with making a claim and means that if you fail to win your case, you will not have to pay anything.
