Injury Solicitor in Totland Bay

Totland Bay is a bay on the west coast of the Isle of Wight, situated just to the west of the village of Totland from which it takes its name. The bay faces northwest and comprises approximately 4km of coastline made up of a beach to the west and a rockier coastline to the north. Both elements of the bay are protected by a variety of man made sea defences including a concrete sea wall and a number of groynes.

Alongside these sea defences stands the more famous Totland Bay Pier which was commissioned by the Totland Bay Hotel and constructed in 1880. The 140m long pier was initially built in order to attract more tourists to the area and to allow for steamer tours to be launched from the end of the structure but its success in this area was limited to say the least. This has led to the pier no longer being open to the public and instead housing only a private art gallery in the shelter at the sea end. This rather sad story of the pier somewhat reflects that of Totland Bay as a whole, which today has a very low number of both residents and visitors; a fact that also means that for an injury solicitor Totland Bay is an uncommon source of personal injury compensation claims.

Injury Solicitor in Totland Bay

The fact that for an injury solicitor Totland Bay is an uncommon location for a personal injury claim is simply due to the law of averages stating that an area with a lower population has less chance of giving rise to accidents or injuries which spawn claims. This is therefore not the same as saying that for an injury solicitor Totland Bay cannot prove to be the source of a claim, and if you do think you can claim for an incident in the area you will find the answers to the following questions to be illuminating.
